Our Finance Graduate Programme is designed for graduates who want to build a successful career in finance while working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant. Over three years, you'll combine professional study with hands-on experience, gaining exposure to a wide range of finance disciplines and business areas across SSE.
You'll study towards the prestigious ICAS Chartered Accountancy qualification while completing rotations across a range of finance teams, which may include:
Alongside practical experience, you'll benefit from dedicated study support, mentoring, structured development opportunities and support from experienced colleagues across SSE. Following successful completion of the programme, you'll be a qualified ICAS Chartered Accountant with broad experience across a FTSE 100 business and the opportunity to progress into a permanent finance role within SSE.
You'll have a minimum of a 2:1 honours degree in any degree discipline. A finance degree isn't required. We're looking for graduates with curiosity, strong analytical thinking and a willingness to learn. Whatever your academic background, we'll provide the professional training, practical experience and support needed to develop your career as a Chartered Accountant.
