We have a fantastic opportunity available at Bouygues Energies & Services for a Mechanical Engineering Graduate to join our Hinkley Point C team as a Work Package Engineer. The role will be based from our Bristol office in Bradley Stoke, but supporting the Hinkley project.
It’s a very exciting time to be joining Bouygues - We have been awarded a Turn-key EPC contract for the Hinkley Point C new build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators.
You would have the opportunity to work alongside a group of very dedicated individuals within our Technical team and be able to contribute to the work that we are carrying out on this innovative project.
The Role:

You would be reporting into our Process & Mechanical Design Lead, and partaking in engineering review of auxiliary process and mechanical design deliverables.
Supporting with project management activities on the Auxiliary Design & Equipment Work Package as defined in the organisation memorandum.
Reviewing the technical deliverables issued by the Valve subcontractor.
Assisting with the administration of the technical changes.
Assisting in monitoring, reviewing and preparing proposed responses to NNB General Communications and claims in your area of responsibility, in coordination with the Work Package Lead.
Supporting in the maintenance of the technical configuration.
What you'll need:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Knowledge of mechanical process design and mechanical equipment
A genuine desire to work in the nuclear industry
Fluency in English and ability to work with international subcontractors
Good organisation and strong attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of diesel power generation
Project engineering or project management experience (or an interest in gaining these skills)
