Are you an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Graduate looking to start your career in a global consultancy? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Heavy Mechanical & Electrical team.
You will predominantly provide support for the Electrical Engineering consulting activities in the Maritime sector particularly in Ports and Shipyards. The role will offer early responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to both large complex projects as well as small specialist ones. You will be working alongside skilled and experienced colleagues on projects where your involvement and contribution will be actively encouraged.
The type of projects you can expect to work on will principally be for maritime engineering projects including container terminals, bulk and cargo terminals, shipyards and naval bases, linkspans, passenger walkways, lock and dock gates, swing and lift bridges and similar moving structures.
As a graduate engineer with Royal HaskoningDHV you will be enrolled on the company’s 12-18 month graduate development programme ‘LAUNCH’. Developed by our experts, LAUNCH ensures you receive the core technical and professional skills you need to support your early career with Royal HaskoningDHV.
You'll receive one-to-one mentor support provided by internal experts, tool box talks, knowledge sharing seminars and on the job training, ensuring you are continually broadening your knowledge base and expertise. In addition, you'll meet fellow graduates at our residential networking events, providing an excellent base to share experience and knowledge as you develop in your role.
The 'LAUNCH' programme will assist you to develop the skills you require to progress your professional Chartership as gaining this will play a key part in your contribution to the business and your continued professional development. Our accredited professional training schemes provide routes through to Chartership for IET, IMechE, ICE, CIWEM and other relevant institutions.

As Royal HaskoningDHV operate projects with a BIM approach, you are expected to be aware of the UK BIM framework (previously known as BIM Level 2), your role within it and ideally have practical experience. If this is not the case, you will be expected to undertake the relevant training courses via our Digital Academy within your first 3 months of employment should you be successful.
