Siemens Digital Industries offers a comprehensive portfolio of seamlessly integrated hardware, software and technology-based services to our industrial customers in order to support manufacturing companies worldwide in enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of their manufacturing processes and reducing the time to market of their products.
We are always challenging ourselves to build a better future. We need the most innovative and diverse Digital Minds to develop tomorrow‘s reality.
We are a small and close-knit team with members in Cambridge UK, Ames Iowa and Pune India.
Our remit is to create and support formats and toolkits that enable rich data exchange between Siemens Digital Industry’s products and between them and third-party applications. Consequently, we find ourselves at cross-roads of collaboration between the different parts of the development organisation.
We have a relaxed and flexible working atmosphere and a culture of mutual respect and shared responsibility for getting the job done. Our modern office is centrally based, and benefits from a range of social activities for the 200 employees who work here.
All the main toolkits are developed in C++ on Windows and supported on a variety of platforms.
Around these we have built a collection of tools written in other languages to support building, testing and other software development functions.
Can you see yourself learning, growing, and succeeding in this exciting position? If so, we want to meet you!
Reporting to a senior member of the Interoperability Protocols team, you will undertake investigation, debugging and development tasks in line with the team’s objectives. We will give you the opportunity to learn and contribute in different areas of the software development process, with emphasis on achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.
We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
(This means that we will supply feedback if requested after an interview.)
