Job Description

Kick-start your career with Farrans as an Apprentice Engineer and gain hands-on experience working on major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK and Ireland.

As part of our team, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, develop practical engineering skills, and earn while you learn in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

We welcome apprentices studying towards a Level 5 Higher-Level Apprenticeship, Level 6 Degree, or Level 7 Master's qualification in areas such as Quantity Surveying. Applicants will be responsible for securing their own college or university course as part of their apprenticeship pathway.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a full UK manual driving license
  • Passionate about starting a career within the industry
  • High attention to detail with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated interest in engineering and seeking a dynamic workplace
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexibly in a team

Qualifications

  • Hold a minimum of 3 A-levels or equivalent and five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 or A-C including Maths, English and Science.
  • Team focused with an ability to communicate and build strong relationships with people at all levels.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change (shift work and travel may be required).
  • You should have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your academic and vocational development.
