Job Description

An accounts clerk placement at Farrans involves managing financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with general accounting tasks to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the finance team with various accounting tasks
  • Process invoices
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with payroll
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Help prepare financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies
  • Provide general administrative support
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the finance department

Qualifications

  • Studying a accountancy related degree   
  • Hold a full UK driving license  
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in the commercial aspects of engineering and looking for a dynamic workplace that provides an outstanding career opportunity 
  • Excellent communication skills, be able to work flexibly in a team and be a hard worker
