Safety & Assurance –

  • How do we help organisations make their products safe?
  • How do we safely develop products that can think for themselves?
  • How do we assure the safe operation of the UK’s national infrastructure?
  • How do we enhance the safety of trains?
  • How do we certify aircraft as safe to fly?

The world and our clients have lots of problems and we get a kick out of finding engineering and technology solutions to these problems.

We embrace diversity, innovation, collaboration, and fulfilment as key themes which help us achieve a sustainable growing business which creates opportunity for our people and does things that matter in the world.

If you crave diversity of work, if you want to do things that matter with your career, for an organisation which cares, within an environment which trusts our people to deliver success, we look forward to exploring if we may be a fit with your future career goals. Our people are our greatest assets.

Team information:

You will be joining one of our Safety and Assurance teams within System Integration, supporting our clients to assure the safety of their systems and products. This will involve working on a range of cutting-edge projects, spanning from technology road mapping, concept development, hardware and software design, certification, regulatory assurance, safety case development, trials planning and delivery, autonomy, and integration of next generation systems.

All of this enables our clients to comply with regulation and to protect lives through enhancing safety across industries including rail, aerospace, surface ships and submarines as well as future transport systems incorporating autonomy and AI.

As part of the wider Systems Integration area, you will pull expertise from across the company and get a taste of what goes on in different areas of the business. Our graduates will gain exposure and experience in the huge variety of our work, and the chance to explore where their own skills and interests lie, whether that be a leadership or technical path.
