Our People

Sam Forshaw - Project Control

Wood gives me great opportunities to work on challenging projects that are at the forefront of technology. Working on large scale projects such as ITER offers countless development opportunities that test my knowledge and skills every day.

Yipeng Wang - Control and Instrumentation Engineer

What do I enjoy most? That my opinion matters, and my thoughts/ideas are respected and supported. Wood is a great place to start your career, it has given me the opportunity to see different parts of the industry, and gather a wealth of knowledge along the way.

Paul Ibeziako - Lead Project Accountant

There are many things that I enjoy about my job and working for Wood. I enjoy the work environment. I enjoy the camaraderie that is formed with co-workers. I enjoy being a part of something larger that makes a difference. I love that everyone cares and that you have flexibility when needed. I enjoy having a voice. My boss listens to my ideas and the whole team works together to make them happen. We all support each other and work together to make our ideas a reality. There is a genuine spirit of cooperation and shared goals all revolving around helping the customer.

Jennifer Carroll - Technical Safety Graduate

Since joining Wood I have had the opportunity to participate in competitions, get involved with industry committees, create change within the organisation and contribute to a government feasibility study. Coming from a chemistry background and working in an engineering role, my job challenges me technically. But the job is most definitely worth the challenge and I love being a part of supporting the UK’s baseload low carbon electricity generator. Working for Wood I am encouraged to push myself, develop as an engineer towards chartership and grow my business knowledge and nuclear professionalism.

Reece Biggs - Graduate Physicist

Wood is a great place for graduates. We have a strong mentoring culture and lots of opportunities to get involved in interesting projects.
