Wood’s Intelligent Operations team is recruiting for numerous Graduate Flow Assurance Engineers & Digital Scientists to join our graduate programme based in either Aberdeen or Staines from Summer 2023. Ideally you will be a recent graduate or within the last 2 years.

This role has come about due to continued success and organisational growth and team expansion. On joining the team, you will be an active member of a collaborative, dynamic and technically skilled group. We are looking for a dynamic, digital and tech savvy individual with an engineering background who is resilient, versatile, and seeking a role within a fast-paced environment.
Our ideal candidates will have a keen interest in any of the following areas including artificial intelligence / software development / Chemical engineering.
As part of the role you will be exposed to real projects from day one in a diverse, dynamic consulting environment.
Actively contribute to projects from day one
Interact with multi-discipline engineering teams across wider integrated Wood projects, or deliver studies in small teams as part of our consultancy group
Demonstrate understanding of, and work to, discipline specific procedures/guidelines
Actively progress towards becoming a Chartered Engineer
Showing an enthusiasm to learn
Executing assigned personal objectives in accordance with our performance review system
Executing assigned work tasks

Recent graduate engineer or final year undergraduate with a minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (BEng or MEng) in Chemical Engineering or similar, preferably with specialism in one of computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or a related data centric field
Preference will be given to graduates with previous appropriate industry experience gained before, during or after their university courses
Fluency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R)
Knowledge of Data Science techniques, such as Machine Learning
Knowledge of designing and developing applications using the Microsoft .NET or python development platform
Demonstrate initiative, tenacity, and excellent communication skills
Possess an ability to learn quickly and be adaptable and flexible to match business requirements
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
