Life at BlackRock

Wonder what it’s really like to work at BlackRock? Our employees from offices all over the world share their thoughts on what makes our culture so special and unlike any other financial services firm – and what’s kept them here.

This opportunity gives you a chance to work closely and add value to a specific team, set and complete objectives and be exposed to the culture and ethos at BlackRock.

During the internship, you will develop new skills and gain valuable experience within the Asset Management industry. You will also have the opportunity to find out more about our full-time graduate opportunities.

ETF & Index Investing

BlackRock’s ETF and Index Investments (EII) business, is the leading index investment engine in the world. We help investors build better portfolios with the industry’s leading suite of index investment tools. We enable them to replace individual securities, to take short-term market views, to invest cash rapidly, to execute more efficiently than swaps, futures or individual bonds, to take long-term core positions and to construct efficient portfolios. We are the leading provider at building and managing efficient index tools for our clients. Our client base encompasses: pensions, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, asset managers, wealth advisors and individual investors.

This opportunity will give successful candidates a chance to be involved in shaping product strategy and design, navigate markets and learn about the liquid investment’s ecosystem, as well as the day-to-day management disciplines of any successful business.

What will you do as an analyst?

  • Join daily market-related updates, learning about how our products trade and react to market events, and how clients utilise ETF and Index strategies in their portfolios.
  • Learn about our clients and their investment strategies. You may assist in guiding investors towards achieving their unique investment goals using our technology and tools.
