Our greatest asset is our people. Through inclusive initiatives, we aim to empower our colleagues to thrive and grow in their roles.
For more than 100 years, our people have been the foundation of Bentley's success.
Our colleagues are the driving force behind our achievements, and their dedication, diversity and determination enables us to deliver extraordinary experiences for our customers across the world.
As is recognised by our 14 consecutive years as a certified Top Employer, we have a number of initiatives that are designed to inform and engage colleagues, while also helping them to develop.
To say thank you to colleagues for the amazing work that happens across Bentley, we have a series of tools to celebrate excellence and show our appreciation - from recognition vouchers to quarterly and annual Recognition Awards.
At these sessions, colleagues can engage directly with Board Members and the Senior Leadership Team. All colleagues can speak freely, ensuring that every voice matters, with discussions structured to promote genuine conversation.
These monthly talks are open to all colleagues, and feature guests from the world of Bentley and beyond. Past speakers have included car journalist Abigayle André, SAS: Who Dares Wins star Jason Fox, athlete Dame Kelly Holmes and author Candice Brathwaite.
Our annual Colleague Voice survey gathers valuable feedback from colleagues about life at Bentley. The insights we gain from this process help us develop action plans to address what matters most to our people, and results in tangible improvements.
Bentley's mentoring programme provides support for colleague development - and in 2023 we launched a Reverse Mentoring Programme, where senior leaders are mentored by DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) leads from colleague-led networks.
Our programmes range from moving into your first manager role to senior leadership development. Some programmes also include training with colleagues from VW Group brands around the globe.
