We have several engineering placements available for talented engineers to support our engineering and manufacturing teams in a world class pharmaceutical factory. Roles may include some or all of the following:
Problem solving and continuous improvement work across a range of pharmaceutical production machinery and processes.
Identifying safety, quality and process performance and efficiency improvements through analysing machine data and audits.
Increasing and maintaining the reliability of our machines.
Providing day to day engineering support.
Assisting in all processes associated with implementing new processes and equipment.
Generating engineering documentation, change controls and production reports.
Taking responsibility for your own projects throughout the year.
Learning more about the varied role of engineering in the pharmaceutical industry.
You will be applying the skills you already have and developing new skills such as; team working, problem solving and building relationships. You will work with and learn from an experienced team of engineers; they will coach and mentor you during your year to help you achieve your potential.

Locations & Roles available:
The Ware site is the largest site in the GSK network with a thriving early talent community. We manufacture and supply a huge range of different pharmaceutical products from our Respiratory and Oral Solid Dose (tablet) Supply Chains.
There are several opportunities available at Ware site. Successful candidates will be working within our Engineering, Capital Projects and Operational teams putting your university knowledge into practical applications. This may include supporting cross-site projects, delivering results in complex, multi-disciplinary environments, working closely on our products in our manufacturing areas, identifying process improvements, identifying solutions, and enabling the supply of new and existing products to patients across the world.
Must be studying an accredited undergraduate degree in a Mechanical, Chemical, Automation, Manufacturing, Electrical and related engineering degrees.
You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You will be expected to provide evidence from your university to show you will be an undergraduate student for the duration of the placement year.

A salary of £21,000-£22,500, plus a bonus
