As a Junior Account Manager, my role involves supporting the team across a range of projects, from large-scale initiatives like congresses to smaller tasks such as updating slide decks. I work closely with two pharmaceutical companies and, during my time at HCG, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to three accounts. My experience spans across both commercial and medical affairs projects. I support and lead several projects across these accounts working with other departments such as scientific services very closely. I oversee timelines and assist project leads to ensure steady progress and successful project delivery.
This role demands a genuine passion for project management and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. While having a scientific background is helpful, it is not essential to succeed in this position. What matters is an interest in science with strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Adaptability is also key, as the role often involves navigating a fast-paced and dynamic environment. If you enjoy problem-solving and are eager to collaborate with a talented team on impactful projects, this could be the perfect role for you.
I truly value being part of an amazing and supportive team. Coming into this role straight from university, with no prior experience in a professional environment like this, there was a lot for me to learn. The onboarding process, including initiatives like the HCG Academy, has been incredibly helpful in easing the transition and building my skills.
I’m constantly learning and have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, which not only keeps the work engaging but also allows me to grow and develop both personally and professionally.
