Our tips & tricks for how you can succeed in the recruitment process

Do your research

Research the Company & the role.

• Use the Gradcracker Company Hub to ensure you understand what we do as a business.
• Review the job description, ensuring you are clear on the role's requirements.

Ask Questions 

Pre-prepare your questions:

• Ask about the training you will receive to upskill.
• Ask about current projects the business are working on.
• Ask about progression opportunities. 

Prepare for the interview

• Prepare answers to general competency-based questions.
• Tailor your answers to the job requirements.
• Come prepared to explain your transferrable skills. 
• Explain what you plan to bring to their team.

Plan the logistics

• Plan your route to the interview location.
• Arrive early!
• Ensue you have everything you need – notepad, pen, water, snacks etc 
• Ask in advance whether you will require a personal laptop. 

Be yourself!

• A positive can-do attitude and a smile goes a long way!
• Don’t be afraid to ‘shout’ about your strengths.
• Make eye contact when speaking.
