About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Procurement & Contracts Intern in the Procurement Department.

What you will be doing? 

  • To assist the Procurement and Contracts department in the delivery of professional procurement activities which support the objectives of the Chief Constable’s Priorities and the Police and Crime Plan for Dyfed Powys, in compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework.  
  • To contribute positively to the strategic Procurement team, undertaking work related to procurement processes, sourcing, supporting the requirements of procurement legislation, contract management, sustainably (social value) responsible procurement, general administrative tasks, support to client departments and to offer support in the delivery of a professional and robust procurement service.
