To join the RN you must pass a medical and a fitness test. Once you begin the application process the Career Advisor will give you the full details of the MedFit process, but it will include an in-person medical and fitness test, details can be found below.
The Pre-Joining Fitness Test (PJFT) is a test to assess your level of fitness. You’ll need to complete a 2.4km run around a track, and achieve a minimum standard based on age and gender.

Male:
- 15-24: 12m 16s
- 25-29: 12m 42s
- 30-34: 13m 9s
- 35-39: 13m 37s
