Our Insight

When we spoke to the Royal Navy, what stood out to us was that the Royal Navy is a lot more than a fighting force. They engage in counter-piracy, protect UK trade routes and provide humanitarian assistance around the world.

The wide range of work the Royal Navy does creates endless opportunities for its employees. And these aren’t all work-related. From having access to state-of-the-art sports facilities, to travelling the world, the Royal Navy offers a lifestyle which just simply can’t be found anywhere else. Their 18-month placements mean that, no matter how long you’ve been in the forces, you’re always trying something new.

We get to know our advertisers by talking to their employees and working with their recruiters on content for their company hubs. We often visit their offices, spending a full day touring their facilities, and hear what they’re getting up to during calls and webinars.

This gives us a real ‘insight’ into their working environment, their culture and the things they are working on. We also learn about their recruitment processes and the things each company looks for in their ideal candidate.

All of this is useful stuff for you to know if you’re considering applying to them – so we thought we’d share it with you!
