There’s more to working at EPS than the projects you’ll work on.
We’re a growing team of engineers and support staff, with offices in Stockton-on-Tees and Glasgow. Although the business has grown considerably over the years, we’ve kept thr close-knit feel that comes with being a smaller consultancy.
Engineering is at the heart of what we do, but nobody is expected to have all the answers on their own.
Our engineers regularly work together to solve problems and share knowledge. For graduates, that means being surrounded by people you can learn from and ask questions as you build your experience.
“The most satisfying part of my role is solving technically challenging problems and seeing the impact of that work in real projects.” Tom, Senior Power Systems Engineer
You’ll also work with people at different stages of their careers, from fellow graduates and developing engineers through to technical specialista, senior engineers and directors.
It creates an environment where you can learn from the experience around you while gradually taking on more responsibility of your own.
We work hard, but we also make time to enjoy being part of the team!
Throughout the year, there are plenty of opportunities to spend time together away from the office. Team lunches, charity events, fitness challenges, our annual York Races trips, our Christmas parties are just a few examples.
We also make a point of celebrating the things that matter to our people, from professional achievements and promotions to the milestones that come with growing as a team.
These moments are a great opportunity to get to know your colleagues from across the business, not just the people you work with day to day.
We want EPS to be somewhere people can build a long term career and enjoy the work they do along the way.
We’re passionate about creating a positive working environment, supporting employee wellbeing and making sure people feel valued for the contribution they make.
Our approach has also received national recognition, with EPS being named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
For us, that recognition reflects something we’ve worked hard to maintain as EPS has grown: a workplace where people can develop their careers while still feeling part of a close and supportive team.
As part of the EPS team, you’ll have access to a range of benefits designed to support you both inside and outside of work.
