Choosing where to start your career is a big decision. And when you’re considering a smaller consultancy, you might wonder: will there be enough work, variety and opportunity for me to develop?
At EPS, growth means new projects, new clients, expanding teams and more opportunities for the people who join us. We’ve grown significantly in recent years, but we’re still small enough for every person to make a visible contribution.
EPS has developed from a small team of electrical engineering specialists into a growing consultancy supporting clients across a diverse range of industries and projects.
Our expanding workload has allowed us to continually invest in our people, capabilities and offices.

In just two years, our team has grown from 8 to 36 people, but our increasing headcount is only part of the story.
Our growth has opened the door to bigger projects, more complex scopes of work, a wider mix of sectors, new clients and more repeat work from the businesses we already support.
As a graduate, you’ll have the chance to work across different projects, sectors and technical areas, building a breadth of experience that can be harder to gain in a more narrowly defined role.
A significant part of our progress comes from developing strong relationships with our clients and being trusted to support them again on future projects.
Repeat work gives us a strong foundation from which to grow, while new clients and projects continue to broaden the experience available to our engineers.
Today, our work spans sectors including:
Early in your career, variety can make a real difference. Working across different projects and sectors gives you the chance to build a broad understanding of electrical engineering and discover where your strengths and interests lie.
Growth has given us the confidence to keep investing in EPS. We’ve added new engineering software and resources, taken on more people and expanded into new locations.
In 2026, we opened our Glasgow office as our team in Scotland began to grow. We see plenty of potential there and plan to continue growing the office as we take on more work across Scotland.
We’re ambitious about the future of EPS.
We want to continue building a highly regarded electrical engineering consultancy, growing sustainably alongside our clients and creating an environment where talented engineers can build long-term careers.
For graduates joining us now, that creates an exciting opportunity. You’re joining at a point where you can grow with the business.
As EPS continues to grow, there’ll be new opportunities for our engineers too. Joining us now means you can develop your career while playing a part in where the business goes next.
Our business is growing. Your career can grow with it.
