Hints and Tips

Crafting your CV

Highlight your skills: We’re interested in both your technical and non-technical skills, so include a section on your CV that highlights all your skills, as well as those relevant to the role.

Show, don’t just tell: Use examples to demonstrate where you’ve used your skills. Make it easy for us to see why you’re a strong match for the role.

Include a personal statement: All experience matters. To help you stand out, include any experience you have that highlights your main strengths and skills.

Use clear, simple language: Make it easy to read. Use a simple, clean layout. Avoid jargon, acronyms and long sentences. And don’t forget to proofread it before submitting.

Writing your Application

Read the instructions carefully: Before you start, read everything thoroughly. Carefully answering the questions in each section gives you the best chance to succeed.

Be honest and positive: Be genuine about your strengths and motivations. Focus on what you can bring to the role not what you think we want to hear.

Double check everything before submitting: Take a moment to review your application form. Ensure you’ve answered every question fully and that all the information you’ve provided is correct.
