Cybersecurity Business Analyst Placement (12.5 months)

Airbus Corporate PKI is a mission-critical Information Management (IM) service hosted in a secure enclave infrastructure and managed by the Airbus Commercial Aircraft Digital Security & Platforms team. The platform’s architecture and operational policies strictly align with ATA Spec 42 and Airbus Certificate Policy (CP) standards, ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Authorities' Field Loadable Software Security requirements for airplanes and helicopters. 

Within the Digital Certificates product scope, our goal is to evolve the technical and functional capabilities of the Corporate PKI solution to continuously fulfill aerospace, governmental, and cybersecurity regulations.

What you will be doing:

As a Cybersecurity Business Analyst, you will collaborate directly with cross-functional technical and operations teams to refine requirements, implement system updates, and ensure operational excellence across the PKI environment.

• Architecture & Deployment: Refine technical requirements, design and document system architecture updates, execute testing, and oversee technical deployments.
• Operations & Continuity: Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) rehearsal tasks, monitor operational KPIs, and drive continuous performance improvements during run-phase operations.
• Lifecycle Support: Provide hands-on operational support for certificate lifecycle management and perform data management.

Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Studying towards a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity;
• Familiarity with IT applications, and their infrastructures (Servers, web servers, operating systems and databases);
• Foundation of General IT principles (architecture designs and standards, networks, cyber security).
• Practical knowledge of project management fundamentals and operational methods;
• You take an analytical and proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges;
• You communicate clearly and bring a strong team-first attitude to daily collaboration.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
