I joined IMI Hydronic Engineering a year ago after completing a master’s in industrial engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. The learning curve for me since then has been pretty spectacular. I’ve developed greatly as an engineer and as a person.
I think many companies give their graduate trainees projects that are disconnected from the organisation’s real work. But that’s not the case at IMI. Here, we only get put on a project if there’s real value to it.
The support you get as a graduate is tremendous. I had just moved from Sweden to Poland when COVID-19 struck, and it was worrying to be stranded in a new country. But HR and all my co-workers really helped me through the crisis.
