I joined with a group of seven graduates and was put on a rotation programme. This was set up in order to allow us all to gain the experience in each different sector whilst gaining continuous project experience both within an office environment and out on site. Also being based in the client office meant that client contact was an everyday occurrence which is a rare opportunity to be given on a graduate scheme.
Starting formal employment after uni is a real kick starter into your career when you have to start applying what you have learnt into practice on live projects and seeing the results at the end of it.
The best thing about working for Mott MacDonald for me is the people and I’m sure everyone who works here would agree.

What I deem as an achievement so far would be the completion of my MSc course which is due in September.
I am currently undertaking my MSc course in order to begin my professional qualification, my line manager has been very supportive throughout this process.
The Academy is about supporting you in the first four years of your professional career and it is kick started with a weekend away. This is a great opportunity to meet other graduates within the business and in different divisions
