I joined PA as a direct entry graduate into Digital Trust & Cyber Security, within the Security Testing & Assurance Team. In my time at PA, I have experienced the full breadth of consulting, having worked with banks and a major international manufacturing company to solve complex problems.
I also complete security assurance tests on web applications for a diverse set of clients to help improve their security posture. To keep providing top quality deliverables, I spend a lot of time working on my personal development and technical skills, gaining industry standard certifications like the CREST CPSA.
When working at PA you are surrounded daily by experts in their field. Working with these experts, you can learn so much even from just having a cup of tea or coffee with them. It inspires me knowing one day that will be me and I will be able to pass on that knowledge. At PA this helps create a dynamic and innovative work environment where fresh ideas are nurtured and supported.
PA puts a lot of weight on their mission statement as an organisation, to Create a Better Human Future and this is something I feel every day. PA also support me to make my own future better, by giving me time and funding to be able to train and certify my skillsets so that my knowledge is always improving.

It is important to look beyond this and remember that you have been hired for a reason and you are an expert in your own right. Remember that you can take the experience you have and create a fresh perspective for the clients, and this can help you speak up more and continue to keep adding value.
Be passionate about what you do and strive to make an impact. PA offers so much to get involved with, and I recommend it all. Find an area of work that makes you happy and become an expert in it. The types of projects and tasks offered at PA cover many different areas and allows you to try different things before settling. Make sure you try everything you want to before settling on one expertise.
