Position Summary

  • Supporting Lead Package QS’s on multi-discipline remeasurement contracts
  • Quantity taking off, framing of item description and cost estimates.
  • Requires interaction with own and other discipline to complete estimation tasks.
  • Perform discipline, project, ISO and administration tasks.
  • Read & Understanding architectural & structural drawings.
  • Read A CAD drawings and taking measurements from such drawings.
  • Interpreting Model Dumps and Model information for application in quantity remeasurement
  • Highly Motivated individual with a willingness to learn
  • Good communicator and ability to integrate into a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Recently obtained 2:1 degree in Surveying or Construction Economics
  • Member of a professional body and working towards chartered status
  • Knowledge of software packages like Autocad, Microsoft Office, Revit, Cost-Ex
  • Some experience required in preparation of Bills of Quantities
  • In depth Knowledge of methods of measurements
  • Competency in BIM / 3D Modelling Tools and Software and measurement applications such as Cost Ex.
