What is the Role?
As part of our growth plans, we are looking to increase our Sales team and require a Technical Estimator to work across Midlands and the surrounding areas. Key accountabilities will also include:
Generate technical quotations utilising engineering drawings and technical specifications. Ensure a clear understanding of the client’s requirements in collaboration with the sales team.
Provision of technical assistance in relation to tendering (support and preparation), including site visits, trouble shooting, liaising with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Provide accurate costing information and technical solutions.
Develop and maintain professional customer relationships.
Work in collaboration with other team members internally to meet organisational goals.
Qualification of opportunities following internal processes, maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all sales enquiries / quotations, using the company’s internal CRM system.
Managing closely the sales pipeline and assist in ensuring that leads are converted into secured sales.
What do I need?
Besides your passion to be the best in your field, help the region and yourself grow, you should be conversant with all aspects of BEMS including infrastructure, software, integration and controls philosophies.
You will be the point of contact for both new and existing clients and will oversee processing quotations via engineering drawings according to specifications set out.
You should be able to engage in technical discussions around building control technologies with our clients and be confident in offering solutions in a clear and easily understood manner.
Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential to maintain a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders including customers and external service providers
