Our summer internships are ideal for undergraduate students. As well as gaining some great experience, successful completion of your internship in 2026 could lead to you being offered a place on one of our graduate programmes starting in 2027. 

What can I look forward to?

Get excited! Your 10-week Summer Business Management Intern programme will give you a role with real responsibility whilst helping you gain a strong understanding of our business, what we do and how we deliver for our customers. You’ll be part of a dynamic organisation, utilising your current skills and building new ones in a fast-paced environment, making great connections and building a network of support along the way.

We have different intern roles across the business, and you could be supporting business areas such as Claims, Underwriting, Zurich Municipal, Operations and the Customer Office. In addition to your day-to-day role, you will also take part in a development programme that gives you key skills and knowledge to support you in your role and enhance your career.  

You will need to have the drive and enthusiasm to develop an understanding of our business. Fantastic team working, communication, organisational and influencing skills are key, along with the desire to seize the initiative, adopt a continuous improvement mindset and embrace new opportunities. Be prepared to step outside your comfort zone to deliver for our customers and colleagues.  

Whilst we operate a hybrid working policy, office attendance expectations will be agreed with your manager, and you must be within a commutable distance of the office.  

What you'll need:

  • Although we are a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance to the office workplace stated in this advert 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Drive & enthusiasm 
  • Team working & collaboration skills 
  • Strong organizational and influencing skills  
  • Have a willingness to learn & develop 
  • The ability to build strong working relationships 

Entry Requirements:

  • You must be in your penultimate year of study and on track to receive a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) from your bachelor's or equivalent degree. 
  • A least 96 UCAS Points from 3 A Level subjects (or equivalent) 
  • A*- C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) 
  • You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. We cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.
