Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Urban Drainage Modeller in our Edinburgh office, where you will work alongside our specialist team to help shape the future of wastewater management and deliver innovative solutions for our clients, primarily across the Scottish Water framework.
As a graduate at Stantec, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and develop your technical skills and knowledge alongside industry-leading experts. From crafting cutting-edge hydraulic models to optimising urban drainage systems, you will play a pivotal role in supporting resilient and sustainable water infrastructure.
Working alongside senior wastewater network modellers, you will support hydraulic modelling, feasibility studies, contingency planning, surge analysis and water quality assessments. Your core responsibilities include:

This role will help deliver better outcomes for communities and the environment by contributing to the development of resilient, sustainable and future-proofed wastewater infrastructure. Through hydraulic modelling, feasibility work and water quality assessments, you will help clients understand system performance, manage urban drainage challenges and develop innovative solutions for complex water infrastructure needs.
