Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Cardiff office, where you will be part of our Water team and support the delivery of electrical, instrumentation, control and automation solutions across water and wastewater projects.
A briefing form has been completed for this role. The successful candidate will join our local Cardiff MEICA team of five engineers, ranging from graduate to Principal Engineers, and will be supported by a regional West and Wales MEICA team of around 12 engineers across Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter.
You’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on the environment through sustainable engineering solutions, working on water and wastewater schemes for local clients, as well as Strategic Resource Options for the RAPID Major Water Infrastructure Programme. These projects will give you the exposure needed to broaden your understanding of the water industry and develop your technical capability.
Alongside the MEICA team, you will support the production of EICA deliverables while developing skills in workload and time management, communication with internal design teams, and communication with external parties including clients and suppliers. Your core responsibilities include:

This role will help deliver better outcomes for communities and the environment by supporting sustainable EICA solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure. Your work will contribute to projects that improve water quality, strengthen resilience and help clients deliver reliable services for communities across Cardiff, the West and Wales region and beyond.
