Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer in our Birmingham office, where you will be part of our multidisciplinary Environmental Services team.
As a Graduate Geo-Environmental / Geo-Technical Engineer, you will work on a diverse and exciting range of projects across key sectors, including renewables, defence, commercial, and residential developments. The role offers an excellent balance between hands-on, on-site tasks and office-based consultancy work.
Our geo team collaborates closely with integrated project teams and other disciplines across Stantec—including Civils, Structural, Transport, Air Quality, Acoustics, and Flood Risk—to support clients seamlessly through the planning and construction process. You will benefit from strong support from office and technical colleagues, as well as significant mentorship from senior leaders within our open and collaborative culture.
We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. We will provide a structured professional progression plan supporting you to achieve professional chartership status (CGeol, CEng, CSci, or CEnv) with relevant bodies such as The Geological Society of London (GSL), the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES), the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), or the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3).
In this role, your mix of fieldwork and technical consultancy will directly help clients navigate complex ground conditions and environmental requirements across critical national sectors. Working as part of an integrated team, your input will ensure sustainable land use, support renewable energy infrastructure, and deliver high-quality outcomes for local communities.
