Data Science Trainee

King is pleased to introduce its Data Science Trainee Program starting in September 2023.

This unique opportunity will take you on a challenging journey where you will work to evolve our games and our business. You will gain experience working in Data Science in our London studio during an 18- month rotational program. At the end of the program, you will move into a Data Science role to help drive our awesome games!

Your role within our Kingdom

We are looking for talented and creative Data Science graduates to join our Kingdom and push the boundaries of online games analytics. When we talk about data, we’re talking about more than a billion gameplays and 10 billion events. Every day.

As part of the Data Science Trainee Programme, you will be at the heart of helping make games that are played and loved by millions of players. You will be part of the community of 100+ data science & analytics experts at King, while working on a daily basis in smaller teams of 6- 8 people, including other data scientists & analysts where you’ll be focused on particular games, our network or specific business areas. You will help us further understand, model, predict, segment and retain our players, and help take King’s data capabilities to the next level.

Example rotations may include working with a specific game team to understand and predict the overall business performance of a game in the London studio. Here you will work collaboratively with Data Scientists and Business Performance Managers to optimise game performance by boosting engagement and monetisation across multiple platforms.

Or you could be working on our network across all parts of the business to crack companywide problems in how we can boost engagement, reach and monetisation in our portfolio of games. You will do so for both our existing games and support our amazing next generation of games in production

Training, Mentoring & Support

Parallel with your day- to- day work you will take part in training to set you up for success and fast- track your development during the program. The rotations in combination with this training will challenge you and help you grow both professionally and personally. On top of this you will have the support from other Data Science Trainees, Data Scientists, and a mentor. They will coach you to maximize your development during the program.
