Dominic was appointed Managing Director at Farrans in October 2020.
He had previously undertaken the role of Farrans Deputy Managing Director since April 2019, having been appointed Commercial Director at Farrans in 2018.
A chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Dominic joined Farrans as a Quantity Surveyor in 2000.
In 20 years’ service across the Building and Civil Engineering divisions, he has been involved in many technically and commercially challenging schemes at Farrans. These include Coolkeeragh Power Station, Wesklink DBFO1, Belfast Sewers and East End Regeneration in Glasgow.
In 2014, Dominic was selected to lead Farrans Homes and subsequently opened up many potential opportunities for the business. Dominic set an example in developing collaborative working relationships with our colleagues at Tarmac and CRH. His approach was reflective of Farrans’ core values and significant in the organisation being awarded an ISO 44001 Collaborative Business Relationships accreditation
Throughout his career, Dominic has been relentlessly committed to refining the definition of Best Practice, adhering to an ethical approach and ensuring that safety is always a key priority.
He is also keenly attuned to the voice and messages within the wider construction industry and within his numerous positions at Farrans, he has continuously recognised new talent in the business.
He continues to champion personal development, diversity and a compassionate approach as the key enablers to positive change.
