Jonny joined Farrans in 2019 as Operations Director for our Civil Engineering Division.
He has 20+ years’ experience within the Construction Industry, working predominantly within Civil Engineering sectors such as Highways & Bridges, Marine, Renewables, Rail, Flood alleviation & Water.
Jonny is a Chartered Engineer and has membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) and the Institution of Highways & Transportation (MCIHT). He has been involved in projects across the UK & Ireland working on a variety of complex infrastructure and building projects.
He has a broad depth of experience from work winning, planning, technical, through to successful delivery within Frameworks, Early Contractor Involvement, Design & Build, and traditional projects.
Jonny ensures that health, safety and wellbeing is at the forefront and champions visible leadership, providing experience, expertise and overall strategic direction to the division across each of our regions.
Jonny believes in the strength of long-term relationships through the formation of collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and our supply chain.
Jonny is driven and has an energy that galvanises the teams around him. He applies this energy outside work as a keen cyclist and hill walker followed up by at least one coffee with his family.
