We are a systems and engineering technology consultancy that helps organisations deliver innovative engineering to make lives safe, secure, sustainable and affordable. Our people join us to make an impact on the world and to learn from some of the best minds in the industry. Our people stay with us because they value our highly supportive team environment and the career opportunities provided by our sustained growth.
Our people are at the very heart of what we do, they are the reason our clients work with us to solve some of their greatest challenges.
Our electronics and embedded software engineers are based in our Bristol, Burton, Glasgow and Dorking offices, as well as supporting clients at their sites. Our engineers apply their technical skills to tackle problems on behalf of our clients; to take a systems view to understand their needs and consult and deliver sustainable and safe solutions that truly add value.
We pride ourselves at Frazer-Nash in supporting our Early Careers Engineers to utilise and develop their technical skills working as part of project teams under the coaching and mentorship of experienced Electronics and Embedded Control specialists. Within our IET accredited Professional Development Scheme, we will work with you, tailoring your project tasking, along with technical, project management and consultative training with the goal of getting you in a position to attain Chartered Engineer status during the first 5 years of your career.
Are you someone who can look beyond the task presented, who has a desire to apply their technical skills to tackle problems in new industries; to take a systems view to understand our clients’ needs and consult and deliver sustainable solutions that truly add value.
We'll teach you to hone your problem-solving skills and work with clients from a huge range of industries, all from day one. You’ll expand your experience, potential and curiosity at the same time.
Our projects are varied both in scale and industry sector. We typically have a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from designing prototype electronics / Internet of Things (IoT) devices, developing Hardware in the Loop (HiL) test environments for the assurance of safety critical functions, through to developing large-scale control systems for some of the most complex and high-profile engineering projects in the UK today. This diversity and the growth of our electronics capability provides a wealth of opportunities for career development and progression within our team.
The nature of our work means that we sometimes require staff to access Government material, it is therefore necessary for all of our employees to gain appropriate security clearance. We will apply for clearance if you have successfully been selected for a position, and we will decide if we can successfully gain full clearance on your behalf based on the content of your application. Any offer of employment is subject to this requirement being met.
