As a Mathematics undergraduate, I am so grateful for each individual at EES, taking the time to teach and give me a deeper understanding of each project introduced to me. Watching people who love their profession has excited me for the future - as a mathematics student I’m still not sure what career I’ll end up with, but I hope it creates as much enjoyment as I’ve witnessed at EES, I could not have asked for a better summer placement.
EES is focused on the growth and development of its team, on my eleven-week engineering placement I had been taken on site on multiple times, each time learning something valuable within the industry and in a professional environment. Visiting Dungeness B must be my favourite; having the opportunity to see a nuclear power site and learning about the history.
The community within the company is unlike any I’ve witnessed before; I very quickly settled into my role and felt a sense of belonging at the company. This being a massive reason for joining and staying at EES, alongside the room for development into your personal career aspirations. This is because the managers at EES have a great eye for seeking out strengths and weaknesses in their employees.
