Once you’ve sent in your application, the HR team will review it to ensure that it’s suitable for the job that you’ve applied for. We review CVs throughout the application window and the hiring manager aims to have reviewed your application within 3-5 working days.
We will provide feedback to all candidates at every stage of our process. We’re keen to ensure that if your recruitment experience ends with us, we can give you some constructive feedback to aid your future applications.
The first stage of our process, following your CV, is a video questionnaire. If you’re invited to the first stage you will answer 6-8 set questions and your recorded answers will be sent to the hiring manager to review.
At this stage, you will be able to practise your answer as many times as you want before you submit but we encourage you to be as authentic as possible. The hiring manager aims to have reviewed your video within 3-5 working days and again, we will get back to you with constructive feedback.
The final stage of our process, after the video questionnaire, is an interview. We will ask you to disclose any reasonable adjustments required ahead of the interview. We prefer to do these interviews in person because it allows us to give you a tour of the facility, but we understand this is not always possible. In those cases a virtual interview will take place via MS Teams. If you are able to travel to Weymouth for your interview, we will reimburse travel expenses and provide support where necessary.
At this stage we give you a week, at minimum, to prepare to present against a brief set by the hiring manager and complete a psychometric test. These tasks are an opportunity for you to showcase your skills and demonstrate why you are a good fit for ASMPT. We encourage you to strive for excellence and also show us the real you. We are keen to get to know you as an individual as well as assess your technical knowledge and this interview is also designed for you to ask us any questions you might have about working at ASMPT. Remember, the interview process is a two way street and we want you to have the opportunity to decide whether ASMPT is the right place for you as well as us assessing you!
