What it's like working at CC?

Career development

As our people are at the heart of our business, we know that their development is critical to our success, which is why we have a robust offer to support us. Upon joining Cambridge Consultants, you will agree expectations with your manager to determine what success looks like as well as have regular meetings to assess progress and areas to continue your development.

We have an annual review process to support this further where we also include the opportunity for 360 feedback, discuss areas where you want to develop and how we can support you in your career.

We have a twice-yearly promotion process, where promotions are based on merit. We recognise high-performing employees and acknowledge the rewards the effort deserves.

Our development offer includes opportunities to become a deeper expert in your field, or consider developing in new areas, potentially changing your discipline your market vertical or even taking advantage of internal mobility in the form of secondments or international moves.

We have also established a culture where developing your career does not necessarily mean having to take on line-management responsibilities, although these opportunities also exist.

Tech for Good

Our vision at Cambridge Consultants is that technology needs to be a force for good, and we believe that breakthroughs should have a real impact on society and the environment. What launched as an internally focused initiative to ensure we were at the forefront of driving this impact, has subsequently evolved over time. We now not only look at ourselves but encourage and assist our clients to effect positive change in the world through technology.

Social Community

We have an active social community with a variety of events and activities throughout the year. Events range from black-tie holiday parties, family fun days and intercompany sports tournaments, as well as smaller less formalised events like wine tasting evenings, go-karting, board game nights and lots more.

As with many things at Cambridge Consultants, what you get involved in is very much up to you. We’re always interested to hear new ideas and eager to offer our support, and you’re likely to find plenty of interest from your fellow employees.

Our offices

Cambridge Consultants operates out of state-of-the-art facilities across the globe where our employees can benefit from closely collaborating with experts across all multi-disciplinary teams. We do have a hybrid working model* in order to support people from being in their best environment to achieve great results.

Sustainable work-life balance

As a company, we value our people. We want to ensure that everyone working at Cambridge Consultants can maintain a healthy work/life balance. We discourage working outside of individual core working hours and we’re flexible about start/finish times as we know having flexibility in our week is important. We are pretty laid back about what we wear – if you’re comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt, that’s fine with us! That being said, we do make an effort to dress smartly for our clients.

Across our regions we have offices that offer a mix of collaborative open plan areas, private meeting rooms, and quiet spaces where you can work alone if that’s what you prefer. We also have plenty of coffee stations and relaxing zones to socialise with colleagues throughout the day.
