The Airworthiness and Certification domain is the bedrock of Airbus, ensuring the certification of Airbus products. Representing Airbus in airworthiness authority rulemaking initiatives led by the Authorities, we use our expertise to help shape the regulatory landscape for future aircraft.
We work across Airbus domains and interface with external parties such as suppliers, airlines and airworthiness authorities throughout the complete life cycle of each aircraft program.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Airworthiness and Certification team for a 12-month work placement. This role is aimed at an engineering undergraduate looking for an interesting and challenging placement, wishing to gain unique experience of the airworthiness and certification processes for Airbus aircraft.
In the Airworthiness and Certification domain, we are responsible for exercising the privileges granted to Airbus by the International Airworthiness Authorities, which allow Airbus to design, build and fly our aircraft. We have a key role in ensuring the future of the company.
During this placement you will be working within both the Continued Airworthiness team and the Certification Technical Directorate focusing mainly on the Airbus in the UK activities related to Wing Structure, Landing Gear and Fuel System.

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
