We currently have an opportunity for a Year in Industry Undergraduate within our Highways team based in Exeter. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

You will work within established teams assisting Engineers and Project Managers progress numerous highways and infrastructure related projects.

You will provide support in the development of engineering designs, drawings, reports, Health and Safety documentation, site visits etc.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • You will be studying MEng Civil Engineering seeking an industry placement for your third year of study
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Good communication skills – verbally, written and graphically.
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD.

Desired:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Completing a successful Year in Industry placement with Jacobs will provide you with a wonderful insight as well as an opportunity to speak to new Graduates as you consider your future career options.
