Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate-Environmental Planning & Advisory in our Edinburgh office, where you will be part of a growing Environmental Planning practice within Environmental Services.
Our Environmental Planning team is seeking graduates with diverse skills and interests to join our growing practice. From day one, you’ll be part of a collaborative community of experts, supported and mentored as you develop your career. You’ll contribute to high-profile UK-wide projects across everything from urban residential and strategic land development to large-scale infrastructure schemes in the water, energy, and transport sectors. You’ll support project delivery, contribute to environmental assessments, and help shape strategies that promote sustainable outcomes.
We are committed to supporting employees in achieving relevant professional qualifications and accreditation. You will be encouraged and supported to work towards professional Chartership early in your career with relevant institutes, such as the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
In this role, you will be directly involved in shaping sustainable development and infrastructure strategies across the UK. Supporting projects across urban regeneration, strategic land, water, energy, and transport, your environmental assessments and planning strategies will directly promote climate resilience and sustainable growth. Working alongside industry experts and taking on meaningful responsibilities that grow with you, your daily efforts will help clients navigate complex planning processes and deliver impactful environmental solutions for future communities.
