As a Biodiversity Intern within our Integrated Water Management team, you'll play an active role in helping to protect and enhance the natural environment across the North West. Working on a variety of nature recovery projects, you'll gain hands-on experience in areas such as protected habitats and species, invasive non-native species management, biodiversity net gain, nature-based solutions, and environmental investigations to support regulatory compliance.
You'll collaborate with colleagues, environmental partners, local authorities and other stakeholders to help deliver positive outcomes for our customers, communities and the region's landscapes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to United Utilities' vision of a stronger, greener, healthier North West while developing valuable knowledge and skills for a future career in environmental management and sustainability.
We require our interns to be expecting a minimum 2:1 degree in an Environmental related degree. You must be in your penultimate year of university study.
