What you can expect being an intern in Framework Management team:

As an intern in our Framework Management team, you'll gain a unique behind-the-scenes view of how United Utilities works with strategic contract partners to deliver value for customers and support essential services across the North West.

You'll be part of a team responsible for managing supplier relationships, monitoring performance, driving continuous improvement and helping ensure our frameworks deliver efficiency, value and positive customer outcomes. This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll contribute to real business activities, work with stakeholders across the organisation and bring fresh ideas that can make a genuine impact.

What you’ll be getting stuck into day to day:

• Analysing supplier performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Supporting the team in managing relationships with contract partners and key stakeholders across the business.
• Attending meetings with supply chain partners to understand challenges and discuss performance outcomes.
• Assisting with projects focused on improving framework management processes, efficiency and value.
• Creating reports, dashboards and presentations that turn data into meaningful business insights.
• Collaborating with colleagues across commercial and other business areas to understand different perspectives.
• Supporting the monitoring of contract performance, risks and improvement initiatives.
• Taking ownership of specific tasks and projects while contributing ideas and recommendations to the team.

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and challenge constructively.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in supplier or contract management.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of your own work.
• A genuine interest in improving performance, efficiency and outcomes for customers.

• Starting salary of at least £25,950 pro-rated
