We are looking for enthusiastic VPI Service Engineer students to join our team on a 12 months placement commencing July/August 2022 , supporting our aftermarket team, specialising in Service Engineering for our Engine Business Unit in Darlington Engine Plant.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Uses prescribed and innovative methods and works with limited guidance.
Collaborates with the Customer and End user for field investigation and data gathering
Develops and validates technical work instructions and technical document publication
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to analyse Big Data
Support Technical Engineering groups with analysis and development, being the voice of Service Engineering.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
We are looking for a wide range of applicants currently studying a STEM subject at degree level ideally Mechanical Engineering
Technical Documentation - basic knowledge in Technical Documentation engine operation and repair
Structured problem-solving process - able to understand and apply structured problem-solving processes to resolve issues.
Have ‘hands-on’ experience with Engines/Systems (desired)
Good experience with MS packages (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
