Whether leaving School or College with GCSEs/Standards, A ‘Levels/Highers (or equivalent) or in work and looking for a new career path, you are fully supported as you rotate within the business working on real-time projects alongside highly skilled professionals who are passionate about their work.

As you would expect from a globally renowned Company, we offer competitive entry salaries from £14,000 to £20,500pa and fully support your academic learning through to qualifications, so there is no need to get into debt.

There is a member of our Apprentice team at each site, helping you progress, ensuring your study time is protected, enabling access to digital learning as well as opportunities to get involved with the local community and STEM projects, enhance many aspects of each programme.

What you will do

You will be required to share your time between the workplace and you academic establishment

  • Apply your developing Engineering skills to help us to solve problems, generate ideas and be a part of the development of the next generation of EW products.
  • Commit to the successful completion of all your academic modules and assignments.
  • You will get the opportunity to develop lifelong skills with the support of world-class experts in their field.
  • You will develop a wide range of skills helping us produce Microwave/RF systems, cutting-edge Antenna designs, Digital and mixed signal Digital and RF designs. All towards executing high performance signal processing, communications and control for our products.
  • You will learn how to test product in our well-equipped laboratories in order to develop robust designs that will function reliably in harsh environments to enable decades of use.

What we are looking for

You must have (as a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • 3 x A Levels (A*- C) one of which must be English, Maths or a Business related subject OR
  • An alternative Level 3 qualification, which must be a business-related subject AND
  • GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / A*- C) in Maths and English
