The successful applicants will be engaged in the full lifecycle of software development. Embedded in expert teams you will gain direct experience in the development of effective solutions in a complex high integrity environment. With the emphasis very much on the engineering, you will deploy your solutions on real world devices performing essential functions and gain direct feedback on the effectiveness of your problem solving skills.
You will develop software, create designs, architecture and inspection criteria. You will be expected to develop a good understanding of the domain so that you can contribute to the refinement of the solutions. You will work as an integral part of a team based organisation collaborating with modern practices where your contribution will directly contribute to your success and that of the team.
Please note that in order to apply for this opportunity you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. Normally this is to the level of Security Check (typically known as “SC”) for our business, but may need to be to a higher level for this particular role due to the nature of the projects and or programmes that the role will be supporting.
All of our roles require (a) a minimum of an upper Second class Bachelors/Integrated Masters degree, or (b) a higher degree, such as a MSc or PhD. In all cases the subject should be engineering, mathematics, physics or another relevant discipline.
An interest in software or electronics development including software related College/University assignments or personal projects.
