Materials Science Technologist Degree Apprentice

About us!

The Stevenage Materials laboratory is a fast paced environment, testing around 9000 samples a year for various projects.

Make it possible. Make it happen. Make it fly.

At Airbus Group, our people work with passion and determination to accomplish the extraordinary – on the ground, in the sky and in space.

We are a small dynamic multi-skilled team providing Materials testing support and analysis to scientific programmes and to telecommunication satellite programmes. Our laboratory use a wide range of equipment and testing techniques and will offer you exciting opportunities, and challenges, to learn.

Through materials testing we ensure that flight hardware meets the exacting requirements needed for the space environment.
