Disciplines available within Building Services & Structures Performance

Public Health and Plumbing Engineering

For this opportunity, we welcome applications from individuals that are eligible to apply for or currently hold a Graduate visa. An offer of employment will be conditional upon your Graduate visa application being approved. Please note, further sponsorship on a Skilled Worker visa will be subject to business needs and performance. If you are successful in being appointed, this will be reviewed periodically throughout your employment.
 
Well-designed water supply and foul and sanitation drainage systems are essential to healthy and sustainable buildings. Arup's environmental services engineers (also known as public health engineers) tackle a range of design challenges. Additionally, on some projects, our environmental services engineers also carry out civil engineering tasks such as below ground drainage design, flood risk analysis and specialist road and pavement designs along with associated earthworks required for new and existing building construction. 
 
We are looking for candidates with a master's degree (or a minimum of a bachelor's at 2:1 or above) in Civil, Environmental, Architectural, Mechanical, Building Services, Water, Chemical or Process Engineering, or Chemistry, Maths, Physics, Sustainability or Hydrology

Building Services – Mechanical

For this opportunity, we welcome applications from individuals that are eligible to apply for or currently hold a Graduate visa. An offer of employment will be conditional upon your Graduate visa application being approved. Please note, further sponsorship on a Skilled Worker visa will be subject to business needs and performance. If you are successful in being appointed, this will be reviewed periodically throughout your employment.

Our Mechanical Building Services Engineers apply their specialist skills to buildings projects across the globe and are influential at being able to drive reductions in carbon dioxide emissions and energy/water consumption to the benefit of our society. We offer our clients a broad spectrum of expertise and consulting services in, but not limited to, the following types of developments; commercial and residential developments, universities, colleges and schools, hospitals and healthcare buildings, laboratories and research facilities, transport projects, including airports and rail stations, sports facilities and stadia, hotels & leisure, theatres and performance venues, museums and Art Galleries, large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities and data centres. 

We are looking for candidates with a master's degree in Architectural, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, however strong bachelor's degrees in these subjects will also be considered.

Building Services – Electrical 

For this opportunity, Arup can support applicants in obtaining a Skilled Worker visa - any offer we make will be conditional upon your visa application being approved

Our Electrical Building Services Engineers apply their specialist skills to buildings projects across the globe.

We offer our clients a broad spectrum of expertise and consulting services in, but not limited to, the following types of developments: commercial and residential developments, tall buildings, universities, colleges and schools, hospitals and healthcare buildings, laboratories and research facilities, transport projects, including airports and rail stations, sports facilities and stadia, theatres and performance venues, museums and art galleries, large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities and data centres. 

We are looking for candidates with a Masters Degree (or bachelor's at 2:1 or above) in Electrical, Architectural, General or Building Services Engineering, or Engineering Science

Structural Engineering 

For this opportunity, we welcome applications from individuals that are eligible to apply for or currently hold a Graduate visa. An offer of employment will be conditional upon your Graduate visa application being approved. Please note, further sponsorship on a Skilled Worker visa will be subject to business needs and performance. If you are successful in being appointed, this will be reviewed periodically throughout your employment.

We are looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, General or Architectural Engineering, or Engineering Science, at 2.1 or above
