CGG and bp have signed a major multi-year global data transformation and curation agreement, that will play a key role in supporting bp’s subsurface digital strategy.

CGG built this expertise from the experience of organizing our own massive data stores on the Earth to make them easily searchable and analytics ready.
Our constantly evolving data pipeline makes use of proprietary and latest generation open-source machine learning, data transformation and ETL/database technologies to classify, extract, clean and integrate data; and our industry-leading data model spans 300 data types and 250,000 entities of subsurface terminology to label, train, transform and clean output data.
Data Hub is a fast growing and diverse team of geoscientists, data scientists, machine learning, software and data engineers based out of CGG’s Llandudno office in North Wales with members of the team also located both remotely across the UK and in CGG’s Crawley office just south of London.
