About the Role
We are currently looking for a Graduate Project Engineer to join our UK operations team. The Project Engineer will be involved in the full project delivery life cycle, including:
Configuring, tuning and testing world-leading pipeline leak detection and simulation software for operational gas and liquid pipelines
Carrying out detailed data analysis of pipeline operations to optimise system performance
Supporting international customers, both remotely and during site visits
Preparing progress reports and attending project meetings
Performing Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
Installing and commissioning application software at client sites internationally
Providing training to clients’ personnel
Preparing project related documentation such as system operating and maintenance manuals
Conducting on-site service visits
Assembling and installing application hardware for airport hydrant systems
Evaluating and improving the performance of installed software to ensure live systems operate to the highest standards.
About You
The key skills required for the Project Engineer role include:
Bachelor or higher degree in engineering or physics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in pipeline/process simulation, hydraulic analysis, pipeline engineering or instrumentation/control systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Good knowledge of computer networking is an advantage.
Fluency in foreign languages is an advantage.
This role provides a motivated graduate engineer with hands-on experience across software, hardware, data analysis, and international project delivery, together with opportunities to develop specialist expertise in pipeline leak detection and simulation.
