My journey at Polypipe began as an apprentice toolmaker at age 16, studying at the AMRC training center while gaining practical experience at the company. Moving through various departments, I discovered a passion for design and transitioned to the drawing office after completing a CAD course. Achieving my level 3 apprenticeship, I now work in the drawing office and participate in business projects, such as the successful redesign of the moulding department.
In addition to my role, I am pursuing a degree in manufacturing technology and management, expanding my skills and knowledge in engineering. Throughout my time at Polypipe, I have had the opportunity to meet Princess Anne, be nominated for prestigious awards, and give back to the community by teaching at a local school.
I am grateful for the support I have received from Polypipe, as they have guided me through my apprenticeship and degree studies, allowing me to maintain a balanced work-life schedule. My journey at Polypipe has been challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to the company in the future.
